The role of the school nurse is to monitor young peoples' health and promote Healhy Lifestyles. We provide a variety of services such as health promotion, developmental screening and health interviews.

Girls in Year 8 are currently offered the HPV vaccine and both Year 10 girls and boys are offered the DTP vaccine.

The School Health Team also run a weekly "drop in" clinic. This is held on a Thursday breaktime in the Den. If you prefer you can request an appointment by contacting the School Nurse direct or ask your Progress Leader to refer you.

This is a confidential service available to all young people. Although this service is confidential, there may be times when the School Nurse needs to break confidentiality (for example, if a nurse thinks the young person may be at risk from significant harm).
