Booths

On Wednesday and Thursday last week all year 10 students had the fantastic opportunity to work with expert staff from Booths Supermarkets on the skills necessary to make a successful job application.  They were each given an opportunity to think about their influences, what they think about themselves and how they should approach and complete an application form.  All have taken away an actual application form which they can now use to apply for one of 12 Work Inspiration places at Booths Central Office later in the term.  Booths will read all applications received and will shortlist the best 20 for interview on 27th June.  The successful 12 will then complete their Work Inspiration in July.  Many thanks to Ange, Liz and Rachel from Booths and Mrs Long for making the sessions so productive.  Well done to the students, without your positive contributions the learning would not have been nearly as effective.  I hope you all take advantage of what is an amazing opportunity.
