Snappy Circuits year 6

Over the past few weeks, we have been joined by year 4, year 5 and year 6 from Cottam Primary School in our Design Technology department with Mr Jones, to take part in some Stem activities to further their learning of electrical circuits.

Mr Jones taught the pupils how to make a ‘Snappy Circuit’ using cardboard, play dough, paper clips, batteries and wires. The pupils successfully built a circuit to light up a bulb using all their components. Year 6 students made their own ‘Buzzwire Game’ and had great fun playing it.

We are looking forward to welcoming other pupils from our local primary schools to take part in our Stem sessions with Mr Jones!
