Welcome to Creative iMedia
Vision
Our vision in Creative iMedia is to equip students with a range of creative media skills and provide opportunities to develop, in context, desirable, transferable skills such as research, planning, and reviewing, working with others and communicating creative concepts effectively. Through the use of these skills, learners will ultimately be creating fit-for-purpose creative media products. Students will engage in both theory and practical work, in a range of units which are suitable for ACSC students. Students who complete this qualification will have skills in numerous imedia sectors which can then be further developed post 16.
The qualification challenges all students’ abilities as it ranges from a level 1 up to a level 2. The course has numerous elements which includes independent units of work and also a written exam. Students are challenged each unit as they are required to research, learn and develop a new skill set. The qualifications will encourage independence, creativity and awareness of the digital media sector.

With the ever changing landscape of employability it is paramount we provide students with the essential skills which will enable them to obtain and sustain successful jobs in the future. It is our belief that by having the skills obtained by completing this qualification it will enable our students the opportunity to continue on a career paths linked to the creative industry.
