ACSC is a popular and thriving school at the heart of the community, with an excellent reputation locally and across Lancashire. We are proud of our inclusive ethos and are committed to ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and able to fully participate in school life. The Governors are seeking to appoint an Attendance Manager who shares this vision and will play a key role in removing barriers to attendance through a supportive and relational approach.

This is a pivotal role within the school, centred on developing and embedding an inclusive, whole-school attendance culture. You will lead on monitoring, analysing attendance and implementing strategies that prioritise early intervention, student engagement, and strong partnerships with families. Our approach focuses on understanding the underlying causes of absence and working collaboratively to support sustainable improvements. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated individual who can manage a varied workload and work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will work closely with pastoral staff, senior leaders and external partners to ensure that all pupils, particularly those at risk of persistent or severe absence, receive the support they need to succeed. They will be able to build strong, empathetic relationships with parents/carers, while maintaining high expectations.

In return, we offer a positive and supportive working environment, a committed and experienced team, and a strong focus on professional development.
