Year 9 Street Foods

Over the last term Y9 have been working hard on their Street Food project. They have researched, planned, adapted, cooked and evaluated their own choice of Street Food.

We’ve been transported to all four corners of the world: Korea for bibimbap, Argentina for empanadas, India for samosas and curries, Turkey for menemen, Japan for sushi, Mexico for tacos, chimichangas and fajitas, Afghanistan for mantu, Syria for falafel, France for crepes, America for burgers and mac n cheese and Italy for pizzas….and many, many more culinary destinations.

Here are some fantastic examples of their street food, all of which produced within an hour lesson from scratch.
