Year 9 Preston College Taster Day

Last week, all of our year 9 students had the chance to visit Preston College for the day. They were able to try out 3 of the courses/subjects that they may be interested in studying after high school. Courses that students tried included: construction, performing arts, science and engineering. Year 9 explored the college's 'high street' during lunch-time; having plenty of treats from the local shop, Starbucks and the canteen too! After the visit, Preston College sent over the student feedback results; an overwhelming majority of our students rated the day as 'excellent'. A big well done to all of year 9 for representing our school so well. Numerous tutors from Preston College commended our students for their behaviour and engagement in lessons. An extra special thank you to all ACSC staff who supported on the day.
