LUSOM Maths Competition

Today we took Mia M (y7), Sienna H (y7), Harrison P (y8) and Oliver O (y8) to the Lancaster University School of Mathematics to compete with local schools.

The team performed admirably, working together to tackle challenging mathematical puzzles. In one round the team scored full marks by solving a complex logic puzzle involving clowns and their colourful outfits.

Sienna and Mia have been attending LUSOM on a weekly basis to take part in maths enrichment, so they showed me around and were treated as returning royalty, which was wonderful to see!
