Year 7's buzz books

Over the last 6 years our new students in Year 7 have been given a free book to keep, read and enjoy. This year they have a choice of 16 different titles, including fiction and factual work. Alternatively if the student has read their book they may swap with other students and read a different book, potentially allowing them to read 16 different books of all genres. Ashton C.S.C realises the importance of reading and knows it is the ' Gateway' to all academic subjects, and to life outside of school. If you have a child in Year 7 I hope they enjoy the book they have personally chosen, and it enhances their love of reading.
