Deaf Support students visit Weeton St Michael's
18 October 2024
Mrs Price was contacted by Mr Smith, the headteacher of Weeton St Michael's Primary School in Weeton, asking if our deaf students would like to visit and share their experiences of being deaf as part of their diversity week.
This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to share some deaf awareness guidance and talk about their deafness and what makes them unique.
On Tuesday 15th October, Mrs Price, Mrs Walls and three year 9 students went to visit the school.
Clark F, Adalaide H and Eniola A all did a fantastic job presenting in front of over 50 primary school children! It was a brilliant opportunity and our students did us proud. Well done!
